The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
With the Cyber Resilience Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/2847), the European Union is establishing a uniform legal framework for the cybersecurity of products with digital elements.
Among other things, the CRA sets requirements for the secure development and deployment of products, the handling of known vulnerabilities, the provision of security updates, and the reporting of certain vulnerabilities and security incidents.
ViscoTec is gradually implementing the technical and organizational requirements of the CRA that are relevant to our products. The reporting obligations under Article 14 of the CRA take effect on September 11, 2026. Full implementation of the remaining CRA requirements will take effect on December 11, 2027.

Responsible Disclosure of Vulnerabilities
We support a responsible and coordinated approach to cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Please give us the opportunity to investigate reported issues and, if necessary, prepare appropriate measures before publishing technical details of a vulnerability that has not yet been made public.
