Bonding & Sealing: Reliable Dispensing for Durable PV Modules – From Frame Bonding to Junction Boxes

In solar module manufacturing, consistent bead geometries, defined volumes, and robust process control are essential. ViscoTec dispensing systems automatically apply adhesives and sealants for applications such as frame bonding as well as junction box attachment and potting.

Volumetric dispensing ensures consistent, bubble-free application regardless of viscosity or filler content. This increases the mechanical stability, weather resistance, and electrical insulation of PV modules, contributing to consistently high energy yield over their entire service life.

ViscoTec systems also support efficient and stable processes in metallization and silver paste handling. Critical materials such as silver pastes can be dispensed precisely and volumetrically, reducing material consumption and production costs.
